Now we already know that the struggle is real. But do we understand that the struggle is the key to success? I love the way Paula White articulates it by saying, “Don’t curse your crisis”. And I’ll bet all of your Christian Facebook friends declare: “There’s a blessing in the pressing”.
But I think the bible said it best in Psalm 119:71 when it states: It is good for me that I have been afflicted. It Is Good For Me That I Have Been Afflicted. Wow what kind of statement is that? I mean is anyone really happy to struggle through an affliction? I want you to notice that the term is used in the past tense here [ It is good for me that I have been afflicted]. See no one likes affliction while it is going on at that present moment. In fact it is very painful. Those however, who have been trained by their struggles are at an advantage. They have acquired the wisdom for success.
