In a Dream I Saw the Symbol of a Cross on the Bank of Hill on January 6th What Does it Mean
In a dream on January 6, 2021, I saw a large piece of land with a cross on the bank of a hill.
When I awakened, I felt comforted. God is with us I thought.
As the day went on I witnessed via livestream a riot at the Nation’s Capital. I thought about the dream and noted, God knew this was going to happen before it happened. He wants us to know He is with us. He has not forsaken us.
The sign of the cross is a symbol of Salvation. While trapped between the Red Sea and Pharaoh’s army, Moses and the children of Israel were told to stand still and see the Salvation of the Lord (Exodus 14:13).
Many Christians are feeling trapped at this time. However, as evil forces attempt to stir up fear, anger and hatred we must stand still and see the Salvation of the Lord. We do this with prayer and intercession. We don’t riot we pray after perceived losses and setbacks.
After Moses prayed for a while, God finally told Him to tell the people to move on/go forward. We must move on with our lives. Buy, sell, trade, go to work, go to church, start a small group, take a cooking class, start a business or podcast, date, get married, have party. Please go on with your life.
We pray for those who lie to us, misuse us and seek to harm us. When we do this we are behaving like true sons and daughters of God.
Yes, it appears as if we are battling for the soul of the nation.
There is good news though, God has declared Himself the winner! “The sign of the cross is a sign of victory in battle.” (Hastings Bible Dictionary)
Many are saying God is finished with America. That God is going to pour out wrath and judgment upon us because we are sinful a nation.
Yes, we are sinful but God will have mercy upon us for His own name sake. (Psalm 106:8)
He will deliver this nation from the principalities, powers, rulers of darkness and spiritual hosts of wickedness in high places. (Ephesians 6:12-16)
But we must live in peace with others and take up the shield of faith. We must have faith in the work Christ accomplished on the cross and the blood covenant God made with us.
The International Standard Bible Encyclopedia says, “The cross is the symbol and principal content of the Christian religion and of the Christian civilization. It expresses the bond of unity between believers and Christ and symbolizes sanctification.”
The bond between Christ and believers is based on the “Blood Covenant.” The sacrificial blood of Jesus Christ shed on a cross, on a hill called Calvary, prevails over all other blood sacrifices.
This is a Christian nation, holy and set apart for divine use. We will see the Salvation of the Lord.
